Baby Z - A Birth Story

Baby Z was born November 30 at 3:30 in the afternoon, he weighed 8lbs 2oz. This is the story of how he entered the world:

So I went in for my regular doctors appointment monday morning. Everything was normal baby was fine, my blood pressure was a little (tiny) bit high for the second week in a row. I went for blood work last week and everything think came back fine (not great but fine) My doc looked at me and said "well your only 10 days away, there is no point in waiting for this to get worse, I am going to send you to be induced". So off to the hospital I go!

I went home and grabed my hospital bag just in case, but didn't think I would be needing it. My husband took the day off work to come with me for the induction prosses. Boy am I glad he came.

When I got there the plan was to induce me using cirvixall? a gell / tampon thing? so they inserted in and I had to do two hours of monerting and if all was well could go home and wait for real labour to kick in. So after having this thing in for maybe 20 min alarms and stuff start going off and nurses and doctors come rushing in. My baby's heart rate had dropped really low and they were all trying to get it to go back up again. I was on oxygen and they were having me turn and move all over the place until the heart rate came back up. After that they decided to just keep trying this induction because it seemed like a fluke that the heart rate droped. So another 5 min pass and the same thing happens again. So that was the end of that induction and they had a doctor come in and tell me that I was most likely going to have a c-section. (this was not part of my plan but I had the next 12 hours to get used to the idea)

They left me on this really uncomfertable bed and monitered me for several more hours. Then a doctor came in and said she wanted to try and induce me again using oxitocine? (this will make me have contractions and then hopfully I will dialate) So I got hooked up to an IV and they started this treatment. After 10 min Alarms were going off this time his heart rate stayed down for just over 2 min. I was imediatly taken off the IV. Several more hours of monitering, Another doctor came by and said I would deffinatly be haveing a c-section now. (all fine by me at this point I just wanted my baby to be okay) Then Cazyness happened

Another doc comes in and says (without talking to me or DH at all) She is going to break my water and give me oxytocin again (even though last time my baby almost died) apparently everything else was fine. She then came over and broke my water (it hurt so bad it was like I wasn't even a person to her, she didn't even acknoladge me or DH. She just riped my legs apart and started doing her thing. DH was beside himslef at how I was being treated) All the nurses were so confused by this new move and asked her several times if she had seen the results of the last time we used Oxytocin, she said she had.

So they shipped me off to labour and delivery, where they informed me that I would have to lie on my back strapped to monitors the whole time I was in labour so they could make sure nothing went worng with the baby (so there goes all of my planned pain relif ideas) Just laying there made the pain unbarable, I never wanted and epi and had told DH that I didn't want one however now that it was the only pain option I had (the gas did nothing and if I wanted a pain killer shot they had to check me everytime and I didn't want the crazy doctor near me ever again so I was left with and epi)

The epi worked great, however when you have an epi you have to get a cathader (this is where the fun starts) they put in my cathader, its really painful. I wait for the epi to take away said pain..... it doesn't. I tell the nurse she puts in a new one .... pain is worse ..... I tell the nurse she says some woman can feel the pressure of it and thats normal .... I try and breath through the pain that will not go away..... I tell the nurse that there is no way that this is normal .... she puts in a new one.... and looks at me like I am being the biggest baby ever! The pain is so bad I can't talk and I am gasping for air I am almost crying, DH has no idea what to do. A different nurse comes in and talks to the other nurse... they ask me how I am doing .... I can't really respond but they get the idea that I am in pain. New nurse asks are you sensitive to latex? I almost scream back "YES!" My nurse says she forgot to ask me that (she was a student) Then I get my 4th cathader an latex free one and I finally am starting to get some relif. (altrhough my bladder is so irratated by this point that it is still pretty unplesent)

After 16 hours of labour and contractions I hadn't dialated hardly at all, 1cm. Then I randomly got a fever. So i was off to have the c-section that they promised me 28 hours ago. Baby Z was born a 3:30 in the afternoon. He spent 2 nights in the NICU becasue they couldn't get a vain for his IV so they had to put it through his umbilcal cord (IV for the fever that I had) He then developed Jaundice on the 3rd day and would refuse to brest feed so we had to use a bottle and formula. (when I first went to the NICU to see him I bled all over the palce and I had to be taken away by a nurse) So I didn't really get to see my baby until 1 in the afternoon the next day.

Away we were in the hospital for a week, but we are home now. Brestfeeding has been a chalange but he is now been on the brest for a week (we have to use a nipple sheild, because of the bottle feeding we did, he got lazy) So that is that we are just happy that he is healthy and home now!

So I am currently 38 weeks and 4 days along! I am really hoping the baby comes early, I am a little tired of being pregnant now. Oh well this little guy will show up when he is ready. I have some pictures for you.
31 weeks (I think)

34 weeks (don't you like my costume?)

So I am really tired so I don't really have much to say. I am sure that i will have lots more to tell you when baby Squirt shows up. I will even post a birth story for you. Ha ha

It has been forever!

Sorry I have been MIA for the last little while. I have been busy and sick and traveling so I have been having a hard time to sit down and write.
I only have 7 weeks left! That is so crazy! I have so much to do... well maybe not that much..... here is the list:
  • finish setting up the baby's room
  • wash all of the baby's clothes and blankets
  • clean master bed room
  • major wipe down / clean of whole house
  • make meals and freeze them for when baby is here
  • go to bank and make changes so that we can live and save on your new budget
maybe its not that big of a list but I am finding it really hard to keep up with everything because I am so tired and sore. Oh well. My mom is coming up on Wednesday night and staying until Sunday so I know she will be able to help me get a bunch of things on my list done.

I have been meal planning each week so we can try and save some money, it has been going well but I never really realized how expensive food really is. I try and buy everything on sale or get special deals and pick the cheepest brand but still we are spending $50 + on food every week. This week was an all time low I spent $80! But to be fair I bought a lot of meet. Another project that I have worked out to save us some money in the food department is to have a fully stocked pantry. I know it sounds simple but if we did this our food bill each week would be so much less. We haven't had a stocked pantry since we have been married, I know the inital investment will be a lot of money but it will be worth it in the end.

On the baby front everything is going great! I am the right weight and mesuring the right size 33weeks! My blood pressure is back to normal now that I am not working a relaxed. Baby's heart bpm is 145 which is perfect and he is head down! Everything is going so well. I hope labor and delivery also go smoothly!

well that all that I got for now!

Things are starting to Change

So big news, the doctor has told me I am off work as of  October 1st. Great. Its 24 days earlier than I wanted to be done plus I had another week after that planed to help with the transition to a new person. Oh well. The Health of our baby is way more important than working.

E had a great birthday, we went out for Lunch on Saturday to the Cactus Club (it was sooo good) and on Monday night we had a bunch of friends over and had burgers and chips and salsa. It was so yummy, E made the burgurs (homemade) and I made the salsa (homemade) I should really post the recipe one of these days everyone always really seems to like it and its super easy to make.

I am learning everything I can about meal planning right now. It is my plan to have a meal plan for every week once I am off work. I have been looking up recipies and different ideas to help me get started. I am doing this all in an effort to save money. E had decided to take his PHD so we will be on a very strict budget for the next 4 to 5 years. We will be starting the furgal living once I am off work. I am kinda excited about it, but also terified that we will not be able to make it on the little money that we have coming in. I guess we will see. I am sure everything will be fine.

One good thing about being off work so early is I will have time to finish the baby room, visit family, clean, and best yet I will get to hand out candy on halloween! I love doing this and haven't been able to for the past 7 years because either I was in school, at rehearsal, or at work. But this year I will finally be able to hand out the candy to all the cute and scary kids!

Only 12 Weeks Left! Yay!

So I am now 28 week along which means I have only 12 weeks left to go! I am so excited! I can't wait to meet our little one. I only have 31 shows left to run until I am on mat leave which to be honest is kinda a releaf. I have been a little stressed out at work lately which really sucks, but it seems to be calming down a little bit now so maybe the next 31 shows will not be so bad.
Another sucky thing is I have a cold so that sucks big time right now, its all in nose and ears. SO it makes work and other activities so much fun as you can guess, and because I am pregnant I am not alowed to take any medication for my cold so I am just going to have to let it run its course. So that is pretty lame, but will be so worth it in the end.
E and I put together the stroller and car seat my parents got us. It was that hard to do so we were pretty happy about that. We really like the stroller and car seat and think they will work well for us!
We also bougt a doll to pretend it is our baby so we can train P how to not jump up on people when they are holding the baby. It is kinda working, P is pretty funny about it though. While we are talking about P she had developed a new habbit of crying at the back door but then doesn't want to go outside, its pretty anoying but we think its just because she wants to go downstairs and get some different toys she left down there. Oh well we will get it all worked out eventually.
On Spetember 17 it is E's Birthday so I am trying to figure out how to celebrate it seeing as I have to work. So wish me luck on that!

Time is passing so slowly !

Hurry up December!

So the last few weeks have been eventfull and boaring at the same time. E's parents came up to visit and brought us the rest of the crib parts and a change table. So now the crib and change table are set up in the baby room so that was pretty exciting. My parents then came down a few weeks later a bought us a stroller and car seat. We decided to go with a travel system because every parent I have talked to says that they are way more conveneont. E and I went and tried out a bunch of them and finally picked a safety first Lux travel system. I really like it, I read all the reviews I could find (not many because it is so new) but they all had great things to say about it and the negative things didn't seem like that big of a deal example the back wheels are hard to put on when assembling your stroller unless you have needle nose plyers. Not that big of a deal really.
I had my doctors appointment and they gave me a high blood pressure scare but it truns out they just were using the wrong size cuff so when they fixed that and tried again everything was normal! YAY! I was so worried for about 15min. Anyway that is all that is new right now. Except I want December to come right now, but i will just have to wait!

Life Update * with photos*

Sorry I have been MIA for awhile, work has been crazy busy! But I'm back now to tell you the new happingings in our life!  My next doctors appointment is on Friday August 27, it got changed from the 23rd because your doc went on holidays. The new date kinda works out better because now E and I have the option to do something for our 2 year wedding anaversery which  is on the 23rd. I can't belive it has been two years already and that we are going to have a baby really soon!
I am 24 weeks and 1 day pregnant right now! so only 16 weeks left and our little baby will be here! I am so excited. It has been a while since I posted some photos on here so here goes:
20 Weeks
24 weeks

The last photo was taken today, if I look tired its because I am. It is changeover week at work so I am working through the night. And being preggo and all I don't usually get the best nights sleep, what with the hip and back pain and having to get up every two hour to go pee. I'm not complianing though I am really happy and excited for this baby.

We haven't talked about P in a long time so I thought I would update you on what she has been up to. She is still as hyper as ever and running around like crazy. However she loves to cuddle with me now, I think she knows I'm pregnant so she wants to be near me. Its really cute acually. Here is a picture of her so she doesn't feel left out!
Us sleeping on the couch, E was pretty sneaky to get this photo without waking us up!

P showing off her new hair cut!

We have completly changed the way the living room is set up since we took this photo. We have taken over the basement suite as well as the up stair. I love it it has been great having all the extra space. We moved the tv downstairs and moved E's office into the front room so that his old office could be the baby's room.

We will be working on the baby's room next week once my work slows down (we have already cleaned it out) so we just have to finish setting up the crib and decorating the room. I will post pictures of the finished product on here when we are done. So stay tuned!

And here is a picture of E just so you don't forget who he is, (he is usually the guy behind the camera, but I managed to snap a couple of pictures of him)
E showing us an almond yum!

speaking of almonds its time for luch so I have to go. take care!

Changing things up!

So I had to Change the blog background and template becasue "The Cutiest Blog On The Block" Took off my design and we were left with nothing. I like this new design though so it should be alright!

The Pregnacy is going well. I am 21 weeks and 5 days right now. I moved Squirts ticker to the bottem of the page because it looked better there. But you can still keep up with it if you want too. I have not been sleeping well which is to be expected but my hips and back are starting to hurt quite a bit, maybe its this growth spirt that is happening right now. I have gotten much bigger pretty quickly so maybe that has something to do with it! Other than the expected achs and pains everything has been going smoothly.

E and I have decided that we are going to try and limit how many pictures and things get posted about Squirt on facebook. We will still be posting them on line just on a site that we have more control over who sees them, if you know what I mean. Don't worry there will still be some pictures of him on facebook so none of you facebook junkies have to worry to much.

You may have notices the list of cloth diapers I have on the left had side of the blog. I will be reviewing them once I have a chance to use them on little baby Squirt. I am pretty excited about it so I hope I remember to stick to my idea insted of getting to caught up in my own little baby filled world.

On a completly different note, Today P was out in the yard and was barking like crazy at something. This is very strange behaviour for her so I went out to see what she was barking at. When I got out there P was shaking like a leaf and i could't figure out what was upseting her until I noticed she was staring up at the sky, so I followed her gaze and saw a hot air ballon! P was teriffied of it! It was pretty cute, but I felt bad for her so I carried her inside, setled her down and rubbed her tummy. I thought it was a pretty cute story and thought I would share. Anyway I better be off to work!

Half Way!

So this is it I am 20 weeks along now so I am half way there to meeting this little baby. A ton of stuff has happened since I have last posted so I will try and catch you up now.

When I was 18 weeks we had our first ultrasound. I was amazing to see our little baby for the first time. Although I was uncomfertable throughout most of it because I have to pee so badly. They make you drink a litter of water and hour and a half before you get the ultrasound, and then you have you baby pushing on it and the tech pushing on your tummy looking at you baby! The whole thing took about an hour and that was with E and I getting a good look at our baby. Also we found out that Squirt is a baby boy or that is what the tech said anyway. E and I are so excited!

Also I have now offically felt this little boy move around. It happened at work while the cast was singing Book of Love in the thrid act. I was on cloud nine after that an nothing could put a damper on my mood.

We also have started to collect a bunch of baby stuff we have a : crib, high chair, swing, bouncy chair, reciving blankets, crib bankets, baby clothes and a bunch of cloth diapers. I have been getting the daipers myself since I don't think people will be getting us to many of those. I have been doing a ton of research and have found many different diapers to try out. My parents came to vist us and my mom went with me to the store and added a bunch of different diapers to my stash as well. I think we may have almost enough to start with but there are a few more that I wuld like to get and try out. Maybe I will post some reviews of the diapers I have on here once I have tryied them out on your new baby boy! I can't wait until Chirstmas because E and I get our present a few weeks early (we hope!)

I am really excited to have our baby soon. I am nervous that I have no idea what I am doing (I don't have much experince with brand new babies) But I know I will be alright, I will have lost of help form mine and E's family not to mention the Big Guy Upstairs!

A month has gone by already?

Time seems so be going so fast! I realized I hadn't written anything in almost a month. So here goes: Whats new:
E decided not to take his masters and instead accepted a great job offer!

I have added more cloth diapers to my stash 3 Gro Babys and 3 Apple Cheeks

We no longer have a renter in our basement and have now taken over the whole house

We bought a couch a love seat and a foot stool for $150 at an awesome garage sale (they look brand new, but have a slightly ugly pattern)

While moving some of our belongings down stairs our TV got broken so we bought a brand new 37 inch LCD flat Screen from Best Buy (I love it!)

We have just finished the beginning stages of the deck E is building in our back yard

I had my first doctors appointment and everything went very well and we got to hear the baby's heart beat (I almost cried)

I have my next doctors appointment this coming Monday and I am very excited about it.

Thats all thats new! I am finally in my second trimester  which is so great so far now I am only a little tired and have heart burn a lot at night, but is way better than the way I was feeling so it is a major plus. E and I are going to visit his parents this weekend and are going to one of E's best friends wedding in Cardston. I am really looking forward to this trip and have my assistant all trained up of the new show and ready to go!

Well thats the last month in a nut shell.

Cheap Stuff!

So Today I discovered Baby Half Off It is wonderful! I Have known since before I got pregnant that I want to cloth diaper, so today when I went on baby half off and found out they were selling dream-ese all in one cloth diapers at 50% off I had to take advantage of the great deal. I bought 4 diapers 3 smalls and 1 medium in colors vanilla and orange. I am super excited about them. I am also hoping they have more diapers on there site soon, it would be really nice to get alot of my stash for half price. I only paid $10.50 a diaper which are normally $21.00 I thought it was a good deal. I can't wait to get them and use them, but I will get them way before I will be ready to use them.

Everything is going well. Once I told everyone at work the news has been spreading like wildfire! Facebook is starting to catch on as well and congratulations are flooding in from everywhere.  I have my first doctors appointment tomorrow morning I will let you know how that goes!

exhausted

So here I am 9 weeks along and I don't think I have ever been so tired in my life! I get up at 7am everyday and feel the need to be sleeping by 10pm, however I am hardly ever sleeping by 10 because I am still at work. BOO! Anyway hopefully this will get better soon.

I have a doctor appointment with an OB on June 1st, I got tired of waiting for my referral to call me so I have taken matters into my own hands and call the people at MOM CARE which is near where I live and they have taken me on. I am so excited now it seems like things will actually start happening. I hope I get an ultrasound soon I really would like to see squirt.

Anyways thats all thats new on the pregnancy front (still no name ideas) E and I don't get to spend much time together these days. E has started his job for his 8 month work term and he likes it so far! So he is gone during the days and I am at work at night so we always just miss each other. It sucks big time.

In other news P got a hair cut! We got her shaved so she would bring so much dirt in the house. P is a cocker spaniel so she looks a little funny with super short hair. P has turned into such a little lap dog these days she is always cuddling up to me. I think she might know that I am pregnant so she wants to be close to me.

E and I bought a small pool 8 feet wide and like 2 feet deep. I am so excited for it! it will help keep me cool during the hot hot summer I know we will be having once this snow goes away. It will be fun to spend hot days in the back yard with P.

Thats all for now

April 29, 2010

I am 8 weeks now! It is getting really hard not to tell too many people because I am so excited! I am trying to hold off telling my boss until I am 12 weeks, but what I really want to do is tell everyone in sight. Oh well I might have to tell people sooner than I want to anyway because my pants are getting a little tight! Oh no, good thing I bought some maternity clothes last week. Other than that nothing to new really still working on getting some pics up for you. E bought a new memory card for the camera so we can take a bunch of pictures now.

We are trying to come up with some baby names so we can be somewhat prepared (people always ask us if we have picked names yet) I thought it was still early to be doing that but apparently not. So I think we are going to try and get some ideas going.

Anyway nothing else is really new. I think I will post more once I have told everyone, so sorry about not posting to much

L

April 20, 2010

Stuff thats new

Today I bought my first set of maternity clothes! It was so fun to try a bunch on things on and put on there foam belly so I will know what I will look like when I get big. E says I am already starting to show, but only he would notice (I hope so!) so I didn't feel guilty buying clothes at all. After I went to the store with my friend J I came home and E took me and J out for lunch at the cactus club cafe, it was awesome I had been craving there butternut squash ravioli for like a week. I was so satisfying to finally get to eat it.

I have been super tired lately so I have started taking naps during the day. Its been a life saver! I have been working extra hard to train my assistant at work and he is doing wonderfully and because of that E and I get to take a trip to visit my parents for a couple of days! I am so excited to go and stay with them for awhile. E and I haven't spent more that a night there since we got married.

Anyway not much new, E and I finally started taking belly pictures so we can watch squirt grow, I will try and post them soon. I will also be telling my boss that I am pregnant at the end of May and then once that is done I will be posting and putting up pictures way more often!

L

ps I hopefully will have a doctors appointment with the person who is going to deliver the baby soon I am just waiting for a referral to go through on that. I will keep you posted!

April 8, 2010

Symptoms ?

So I haven't been having very many symptoms so far, in fact I would almost say I have had none. But that would be a lie, I have had symptoms, very minor but still symptoms. I have had weird food cravings so things like pickled pepperoncini peppers which I never used to like but now can't seem to get enough of them. I get full faster (which I think is totally weird) but I find myself not able to eat as much as I used to in one sitting, I find that I am eating lots of small meals through out the day (which apparently help fight nausea) I guess my body has set up a natural defense when it comes to throwing up. Yay me! I am finding that I am a bit more tired than usual but nothing to crazy I don't feel totally wiped out or anything.  And I am really thirsty, so I have been drinking water like a crazy person! Other than these few things I feel completely fine and normal, I don't even really feel pregnant yet but I am sure that in the next nine months I will began to feel more pregnant.

On another note I finally used my Christmas gift that E bought me (a paint set ) I felt inspired today, by the flowers E got me when we found out that I was Pregnant.

And this is my painting. I really hope E likes it, because I would really like to hang it somewhere.

Anyway that is my up date for now. Got to go nature is calling. (oh yeah another symptom I know have to pee all of the time)

Squirt

Hi Everyone!

So E and I are pregnant! Well I'm pregnant but its E's Baby too so he can also be pregnant. E and I only found out a couple of days ago that I was expecting. It was actually great timing because just this last Sunday was Easter Sunday and all of my family was in town so E and I got to tell them in person.

I told my mom first, we were just talking and she was asking me things that were going to happen in the future like the vacation that E and I and planning, but everything was so up in the air now because I am pregnant so I didn't know what to say and I didn't want to lie, so I told my mom I was pregnant. She is excited so that made telling the rest of my family was easier. SO all of my family knows now, my mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, uncle, and brother. I know it still really early to be telling people but I am to excited about it to hold it back.

The Next day we told E's family the good news and they were all excited as well! E parents said they would give us there crib, so I guess that is one thing out of the way. I am trying not to get to far ahead of myself but I really am so excited to be a mom.

E and I went to the doctor and I am now taking prenatal vitamins, the doctor said that I am due  December 7th but that is based on if my cycle was or is 28 days which sometimes it is and sometimes its not, so that date might get pushed back a little bit. But I will keep you posted on that. E and I have decided that we do want to know the sex of the baby so hopefully we will be able to find out. But until then we have decided to call the baby Squirt so we don't call it a he or a she just incase it isn't and say "the Baby" all the time is lame so Squirt is "the baby"

I made a ticker and put it at the top of the blog so you can see for yourself where I am at and how much longer Squirt and I have to go! Anyway thats all I got fro now!

L

An Addition

So E and L have Big Big News!

L is Pregnant!

Due Date that was given by the doctor was Dec 7, 2010!

L is currently 5 weeks pregnant.

So for the next little while Over the Rainbow with L E P will be written through the eyes of L as she shares her exciting jorney through pregnancy and on the road of Mom to BE!

March 23, 2010

Monday = Owned

Last Night E took L out for dinner. They went to the Olive Garden because L had never been and really wanted to try it. Being the good husband that he is E took L to the Olive Garden. The best thing about the Olive Garden both L and E decided was the unlimited salad and bread sticks, so that you could fill up on that and then pack up your meal to go there making it two meals for the price of one! great savings for those of us on a budget! Also L ate one of the peppers that was in the salad and found out that she really enjoyed it (pepperchine) Because L was so brave E thought he would try a pepper too. It turns out that E thought they were great as well, so L and E have vowed to get some of these peppers the next time they go grocery shopping.

L and E decided that it would not be the best to bring P to the Olive Garden so P stayed home. However when L and E got home they made sure to play with P. They played P's favorite game rope bone, they played so much that now P's bone looks like this!

L told P that she would by her a new rope bone on her way to work tonight. Oh and L has to work tonight because it is closing week of her show which mean some all nighters are coming up for poor L. E will use this uninterrupted time to study for his exams that are coming up in two week.

Other events that took place on a rocken monday night L got a new set of scriptures that she named lull scriptures. L and E didn't know that the book store closed at 5pm so when they got there at 4:59 the shop worker wasn't to impressed that she had to stay and work for another 15min while L picked out what she wanted. But in the end it didn't matter that the worker was annoyed because L got exactly what she wanted/needed. When E and L got home they had a awesome scripture study together and L used lull scriptures for the first time. All and all a pretty magnificent Monday night.

Recap of the past Year or So!

Okay we have to get you up to speed with L E P
Here we go from the beginning!

L

So L was minding her own business doing her own thing, working hard going to school. You know living life to its fullest until one day she get introduced to a guy by some mutual friends. L thought this guy E was kindda nerdy but really cute and sweet.

E
E came with some friends to L's house and he thought she was awesome. He really liked her a lot so he asked L to come to a party with him. L said she would go with E.

So L and E started to hang out. They quickly became best friends and spent all of there time together. They went on many dates, and E spent a lot of his time being really tired because L worked nights and he worked days so there schedules never really met up and E had to make some sleep sacrifices!

Here is L and E on one of there many dates! Note the hippos, no date is complete without the presents of a Hippo or two.

As time went on E decided that he really loved L and asked L to marry him.  L was so excited because she really loved E too. So they got engaged. E took L down to the coolies in the fall and told L that they were going to a dance, E pulled the car over under some trees and with the leafs blowing all around them E and L danced to the music on the car stereo, at the end of the dance E got down on one knee and asked L to Marry him. Of course L said yes!

After months and months of wedding planning and L and E living in different cities and hundreds of km's apart the wedding was finally going to happen on August 23, 2008. E and L were going to be Sealed in a Temple for Time and All Eternity because they are both members of  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints So L and E got Sealed in the Cardston Temple. Sadly L family are not members so they could not go into the temple to witness this so L and E had a ring ceremony (Basically a wedding but without the I do's) So L's Dad could walk her down and her family would have a wedding too. It turned into a a huge party with food music dancing and toasts! The ring ceremony and reception were held outside and it turned out to be a beautiful day and night because the party continued past dark. L and E could not have asked fro a more perfect day!

So now there life together really begins. E was still in school so L moved to his University town where they lived in a tiny two bedroom basement suite that was cold and depressing, it was a nice suite but being the basement was not the best option, so in March and April of 2009 L and E started to look to buy a house of there own. And on May 4 they moved into there new home!

This house was the one that L and E fell in love with and they were not the highest bid but because they had done all the finical work ahead of time they could put in an offer with not conditions and that i what won them the house in the end. This house also had a basement suite so they decided to rent it out to help with the mortgage because L was the only one working.

L hated her job she was working at a theatre as the SM and it was really frustrating because this place didn't run like a normal theatre so she was doing a lot of baby-sitting (7 grown adults who would whine about everything) It was not fun at all and L was having a really hard time with this but they has just bought a house so L could not quite her job now. So L tried to focus on things that would make her happy and she thought that they should add to there little pack and convinced E to let P join there pack!

P
Isn't P the cutest?  She is a purebred Cocker Spaniel She is really little her only 8 weeks old. She is still kindda on the small side at 10 months old but still as cute as ever! E had a hard time with P and first because P would have accidents and be needy and annoying, but L would always tell E that P would get better. They took P to puppy class where P learned lots of useful stuff. E Like P much better now and they get along great and P only does her business outside now !

L was still having a very hard time and work even though a lot of time had passed and she had P now but Work was still the same and L was very unhappy. But then an opportunity came up where L could work of the same company and not have to be the SM anymore but she could be the Tech. L jumped at the chance and got the Job! L has been loving it ever since!  So L is a much happier camper these days!

Well that takes to to just about now. So stay tuned for the adventures of L E P !
